I really hate when the bottoms of my trousers get wet ... lol ... and earlier on this week I made the mistake of wearing flip flops underneath a grey sky and go completely soaked from the tips of my toes upwards, trousers saturated to about the knee :-( YEUCH !

I still have mine just like it! I aways slept in it when I visited my grandparents on their narrowboat. That definately was a comfort blanket. For years it reminded me of a happy childhood spent listening to the water lapping and the ducks pecking at the side of the boat.

It was my emergency blanket in cold weather, and for snuggling into/under when not well. I don't think I'll ever find a good replacement, as they're all very shaped and technical things these days, rather than rectangular and able to be opened out flat.

Hi! Thanks, I think it is the feelings of helplessness that is the worst thing: My favourite cousin has had her children removed by the eqivalent of social services today - but she lives in the states, so there is nothing I can do to help her

It is currently on the kitchen floor, one bit I do remember is that the worms are sensitive about temperature variations until they get going.
